Ethan Hagan
Ethan Hagan is a founding member of One Project Closer, a weblog for DIYers. The site provides articles and self-help tips for everything from tools and materials to managing home finances. Particular areas of expertise include do-it-yourself projects (installing hardwood floors, laying ceramic tile, pouring concrete shed base).
Ethan is one of four friends (two couples) from suburban Baltimore who own and populate the site. Sometimes you’ll find personal-experience stories on the site, other times you’ll find press releases and product information the One Project Closer team thinks would be useful to readers. Every summer the site runs a Before and After contest for DIYers to raise awareness for Habitat for Humanity. At One Project Closer the insights are from true DIYers who work on their homes and in their communities.
Ethan is an early adopter of tools and materials that he thinks work well. He likes doing home improvement projects himself and enjoys telling readers about his experience. He uses professional contracting services when they make sense, but does his research in the process – so readers get a lot out of every job. One Project Closer provides objective reviews of the tools and services used in their projects.
